Bart's PE Builder helps you build a "BartPE" (Bart Pre-installed Environment) bootable Windows CD-Rom or DVD from the original Windows XP or Windows Server 2003 installation/setup CD, very suitable for PC maintenance tasks.

It will give you a complete Win32 environment with network support, a graphical user interface (800x600) and FAT/NTFS/CDFS file system support. Very handy for burn-in testing systems with no OS, rescuing files to a network share, virus scan and so on. This will replace any Dos boot disk in no time.

All extra functions are not available in the BartPE version of JkDefragGUI only the defrag options from Jeroen Kessels. Defragmentation done through a BartPE created cd or dvd has one great advantage :  no file is in use so every file can be defragmented. 

There is no seperate plugin available for BartPE. Start JkDefragGUI with parameter /bartpe and it will be created for you. For more information about this parameter see the commandline options.
