JkDefragGUI - Commandline parameters

Parameter Description
/h Start JkDefrag with the saved settings without being visible to the user
/hs

Same as /h but will shutdown the computer when completed.

/reset Will restore almost everything to defaults, Help file, Languages files, Sound and Settings this can also be done by selecting an option in the "On startup" section from the Options tab
/s Autoselect "shutdown after defrag" in the GUI
/r This will automaticly run JkDefrag with saved options including cleaning and wash function
/rs Same as /r but will shutdown the computer when completed
/bartpe:"Path" Will create a BartPE plugin in the specified folder. When /bartpe is used without adding a path it will create a plugin folder called BartPe in the same folder as JkDefragGUI. Not supported in BartPE environment.
/d:x: Selects drive X: as default drive in the GUI
/c:"config.file" Checks for a configuration file called config.file in the config folder and will use that configuration values instead of the the settings saved in JkDefragGUI.ini
/silent:"Path" Will install JkDefragGUI into the specified folder without user intervention. When /silent is used without a path it will install JkDefragGUI into default Program Files folder.
/? This will show this help

 

Shutdown parameters

You can add a shutdown type to every commandline parameter which has something to do with shutdown.

Some examples :

  1. /s:32 will select standby as shutdown type in the GUI
  2. /hs:64 will hibernate your computer after running a hidden defrag
  3. /rs:6  will run defrag with saved settings and will force a reboot afterwards

When no shutdown type is specified the computer will be completely shutdown
